Clean teeth with healthy gums move faster! Poor brushing can cause decalcification and cavities
2. DON’T BREAK YOUR BRACKETS
Broken brackets will extend your time in treatment. In fact, one broken brackets = one additional month in treatment.
3. FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS
Dr. Dougherty and her team will provide you with all the information you need for successful treatment with braces!
HOW TO PREVENT WHITE SPOTS & CAVITIES
Diligent brushing around appliances is the best prevention.
Use the prescription fluoride toothpaste we have recommended.
Avoid sugary and acidic food/beverages.
